CHARLOTTE, N.C.– 3 building workers were killed and 2 others were hurt on Monday when scaffolding collapsed in a commercial crash at a job website in Charlotte, North Carolina, authorities said.The scaffolding fell down after 9 a.m. at a construction site on East Morehead Road, sending out a number of building employees falling about 70 feet (21 meters), Fire Capt. Jackie Gilmore stated throughout a press conference. Gilmore stated both injured employees were required to a medical facility to be evaluated.He claimed all work at the site has been put on hold while the case is investigated by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Cops Division and the Occupational Safety And Security as well as Health And Wellness Administration.
